This video is part 1 of my make of the chest from the 1974 version of Mechagodzilla, also known in the states as the Bionic Monster and the Cosmic Monster. This has always been my favorite version of MG, and probably my favorite Toho monster! I show step by step the methods and problems I had with creating a form fitting chest piece, then cover it with foam to replicate a kaiju chest- all to add to a wearable suit that is made from EVA foam.
