Tamar Vintage Tractors - Ferguson TED20 with Banana Loader Here we have a very interesting Ferguson TED 20 fitted with a Ferguson Banana Loader and grain bucket. This is a particularly appealing setup and one we haven’t had before. We have owned many TED 20s over the years, but never one complete with a Banana Loader arrangement quite like this. This charming little outfit has spent many years in a private collection. We have recently recommissioned it, getting it running again and fitting two new front tyres. The tractor starts well, thanks to a new battery, and runs nicely. It drives well in all gears and the brakes are good. The loader is fully operational and is fitted with a changeover valve to operate both the loader and the tipping bucket. It also has the correct rear frame to lock the hydraulics and allow the loader to function as intended. While the tractor runs and drives well, it would now benefit from a new custodian to carry out some further fettling and bring it to the next level. It would make an excellent exhibit for shows and rallies, or a rewarding project for a Ferguson enthusiast. A good service would be worthwhile, and the electrical system will need some attention as the dynamo is currently not wired up. The tinwork is very sound, the rear tyres still have useful life remaining, and overall it represents a straightforward and enjoyable project.
