Altos News Story: Benemerenti for Former Chancellor
Former Chancellor Joanne Fortune-Miller has been awarded the Benemerenti Medal, a papal honour recognising her nearly 20 years of dedicated service to the Archdiocese of Port of Spain. The private presentation took place at Archbishop’s House on June 3, where Archbishop Charles Jason Gordon thanked Fortune-Miller for her historic contribution to the life of the local Church. She described the honour as deeply humbling and paid tribute to her family, especially her late parents and husband Kurt, for their support and example of service.
