DIVING IN THE DEEP SOUTH / BLUFF, SOUTHLAND / NEW ZEALAND

Hello Peoples :) My name is Alya and welcome to my first diving video I’ve ever made! I have only started getting into the sport in the past 6 years - overall been diving about 10-15 times (not enough!). A few factors that happened on this day: 1 pair of goggles lost 2 pairs of snorkels lost 1 person experienced their first leg cramp I caught mild hypothermia 2 people got sea sickness It’s not for the faint hearted: Cold waters, grey white sharks that live in the area, and certainly a challenge for those that can’t hold their breath long enough. I only managed to catch a few paua (abalone) for the day. However my family and friends that were with me, did catch a few Kina (sea urchin), which we happily devoured at the end of our dive :) Even had a few tourists interested and asking us questions haha.
