84 Everest summits and a helicopter rescue from Camp 2 : Daily Dispatch - May 18th.

It was a great day for climbing as we saw huge numbers of successful Everest summits. This is an unprecedented weather window and everyone on the mountain is taking advantage of it. Still awaiting some information on the helicopter rescues, but as bad visibility swept in at base camp, the climber wouldn't have been able to be rescued just a short time later as the helicopters were grounded.
