DEE-P: Unraveling the Mysteries of Ataxia, Hypertonicity, Athetosis, and Mixed Tone
This webinar, put on in conjunction with the CACNA1A Foundation, is the second in our series on Optimizing Therapies for those with DEEs, will help caregivers understand the movement patterns of ataxia, hypertonicity, athetosis, and mixed tone, and how they impact overall development. Treatments/strategies are identified to help parents with practical everyday interventions. In addition, we discuss the needs of children with complex motor impairments. This session was led by Theresa Spong MED, PT, CBP who has decades of experience working with complex children, like ours, and is a CACNA1A grandmother. To learn more, visit
