Musikraft Custom Hendrix Maple Cap Neck Unboxing and Install
I copied most of the specs from my vintage 1964 neck. I go over the drop-down menu choices on the Musikraft website which I have listed below. Then, I show you how to install it and some of the tools that made the installation a breeze. The craftsmanship of Musikraft is impeccable. The headstock shape is vintage correct. I will post a video of me playing it soon. The vintage size Fender frets are nice and not difficult to play at all. I wanted to experience (no pun intended) what Jimi experienced when he was playing his Strats with the smaller frets. I think they are nice because they don't feel like railroad ties when you are sliding up and down the neck. Surprisingly, bending strings is not that difficult and the slick roasted maple fingerboard definitely helps.
