AWS re:Invent 2023 - Building a precision medicine platform using AWS HealthOmics (HLC305)

Precision medicine requires the ability to gain insights from different modalities of health data, which is often trapped in silos. The Stanford Data Ocean (SDO) aims to address this issue by being the first serverless precision medicine platform for researchers and students, and it’s built completely on AWS. Housing multi-omics datasets and one of the largest repositories of wearables data, it provides workspaces to easily run prepackaged workflows for DNA, RNA, and scRNA-seq.
