Gonzalez, fresh off her UFC run, came out aggressive, immediately wobbling Barbara Acioly with a sharp left hand. Though Acioly recovered, Gonzalez smelled blood and quickly secured a takedown, moving straight to mount. Acioly showed her toughness, scrambling out of the bad position and ending up on top.
