More ‘Future Goals’ for Curaçao

What began in 2022 as a bold idea to turn plastic waste and fishing nets lost at sea into soccer goals for primary schools in Curaçao, has grown into a game-changing movement for the island’s youth. Through the Future Goals program, we’ve recycled more than 1.4 million plastic bottles and 3,000+ square feet of fishing nets lost at sea. This waste has been transformed into over 70 sustainably crafted soccer goals for children, bringing life-changing experiences to schools across the island. And we’re just getting started. With our partnership now extended through 2028, even more students will get the chance to grow through an initiative that unites sport, sustainability, and community.
