While exploring nearby areas on foot, I wandered into Kensal Green via Chamberlayne Rd, which continues from Ladbroke Grove. I found the area stylish and appealing. In hindsight, two things shaped that impression: (1) the terrain around Kensal Rise station is undulating and three-dimensional, and green, and (2) compared to the area north of Ladbroke Grove at the time, almost anywhere looked trendy."
