Minare Tsumura, a soup curry restaurant worker living in Sapporo, gushed about her broken heart to local FM station director Kenji Asato, whom she met at a bar. The next day, while working as usual, she heard Minare's voice lambasting her ex-boyfriend on the radio playing in the bar...! Asato had secretly recorded Minare's complaints and aired them live on air. Furious, Minare stormed into the radio station. However, Asato, without any remorse, said: "Hey, if you're going to stop me, you're the one who's going to give me a break, okay?" Minare ended up ad-libbing her defense. The broadcast garnered a great response, and Asato eventually scouted her to become a radio personality. "Would you like to have your own TV show?" The title is "Wave, Listen to Me!" It's 3:30 AM in Hokkaido, and Minare awakens! The latest work by Hiroaki Samura, creator of "Blade of the Immortal," is produced by Sunrise, the studio behind "Mobile Suit Gundam" and "Love Live!" The unpredictable, unrestrained story finally begins on TV! © Hiroaki Samura, Kodansha/Moiwa Radio Programming Office
