Everglades Missile Silo Run - EUC and OneWheel Ride

We teamed up with some OneWheel riders down in Florida City for an awesome adventure! This incredible ride took us past abandoned buildings, through the Everglades, and alongside some of the best graffiti art I've seen since Wynwood. The weather was warm and the sun was blazing, but we kept moving the entire time. We even had to cross some water along the route. Unfortunately, I didn't get any video of that section because I was too busy trying not to end up ankle-deep in mud! Looking back, I should have just ridden through it the first time. We did on the return trip and had no issues at all. One of the highlights was spotting what appeared to be a rat snake relaxing in the shade along the side of the road. We also made it to the abandoned missile silo. The massive steel girders covering the structure were impressive. We crawled inside to take a look around, but there wasn't much left to see. Overall, it was a fantastic ride deep in the Everglades, out in the middle of nowhere, having a great time with an awesome group of riders. That's one of the things I love most about these rides—they often turn into even bigger adventures than we expect!
