The RTS (or Real Time Strategy) genre was a staple of 90s and early 2000s gaming. The genre first started reaching mainstream popularity in the early 90s with the launch and success of "Command and Conquer" and "Warcraft", which lead to dozens and dozens of other RTS games being developed. While many went on to become bonafide legends of gaming, many others fell into obscurity. In this video, we look at 50 RTS games that didn't quite manage to capture widespread popularity. 1.
