Canadian Artillery Mission
Step by step fire mission by Canadian artillery troop based at Patrol Base Shoja in Kandahar Province, 2010. Narration is by the troop leader, Lt Adrian Dereniowski. Unfortunately the concussion from the guns had an adverse effect on my video camera, so the mission is pretty short. But this piece shows the step by step sequence of preparing to fire, firing, and cleaning the M777 howitzers afterwards. A recut version of this was originally broadcast by (Canadian) Army News.
