Handplane Challenge: Autoset Planes, Part I
For an explanation of the Handplane Challenge video series, please view the introduction here: • Handplane Challenge Introduction . The complete playlist can be found here: • Handplane Challenge This is the first video in a two part series on autoset planes (also known as self setting planes). Two planes, a Sargent 710 and a Stanley G5C, will be evaluated. Both are interesting for being completely different designs from the traditional Stanley Bailey models. The second video in the series will try to specifically test whether the autoset feature really works.
