2026 DUCKHOOK THURSDAY LEAGUE 🏆 Tournament 5 of 11 ⛳️ Glendower Golf Club 🏌🏼‍♂️ Result The Thursday League Ducks gathered at Glendower Golf Club, the 6th ranked golf course in South Africa, for the May Edition of Social League Action. 43 Players took on the Glendower layout, one of the favourites on the Duckhook Calendar. The Scoring started off slow as the Ducks came to terms with the length of the course and the slick greens. Wikus Alberts playing off a 5 handicap took the early lead with a front nine that included 3 Birdies and 4 Pars to make the turn on -3 (21 points). He stayed on the Top of the leaderboard for 15 of his 18 holes until an unfortunate Double bogey on the Par 4 - 16th dented his victory hopes finishing his round on -2 (38 points) to take 2nd place with Josh Datnow who had another solid Tournament on the Thursday League. Lukie Jansen was also fighting at the top of the leaderboard also carding -3 (21 points) on the front nine, which included Birdies on the Par 3 - 3rd and Par 4 - 7th. Lukie went on to make an important Par the final Par 4 - 18th to finish his round on -3 (39 points) to eclipse Wikus and Josh to take the Victory. This is Lukie’s 6th League Win to go with a Major (Open) Win and Classic Win to be one of the most decorated players in Duckhook Golf.
