BIG DUB 2022 DAY 1 VLOG: FESTIVAL FINESSER, EMORFIK, REDLINE DISTRICT & BOUTTA

Typically for Big Dub, we arrive on Wednesday for that extra day to settle in. But this year we had to arrive on Thursday morning due to work scheduling. So we left NJ at 7am, and arrived on the mountain by 1:30pm and was setup ready to rage by 3:30. After a snack and some relaxing we booked over to Hi Score to show support for the homie Boutta from Philly. We stayed there for about 20 minutes, and then made our way back to camp to get ready for my set at New Camp. We arrived to New Camp right on time and I threw down one of my favorite sets I've ever played. I was nervous about playing semi-early on the first day of the festival compared to last years night time set on day 2. But the finesse gang showed out just as they said they would! From the rail to the pit, the crowd was going hard and it was packed front to back! It got so rowdy the stage manager had to bring security with more barricades to secure the rail. I had so much fun! Thank you to everyone for coming out and bringing the energy! After my set I went back to camp to sell some merch and just catch my breathe. We then headed back to New Camp for the homie Emorfik who threw it down angrily as usually. We then went back to camp with all the homies and vibed at camp longer than expected. With no phone life or service, we lost track of time and totally missed Smoakland. So we ended our night with Redline Disctrict, another Philly homie who brought the riddim to the Hemlock Hole from 10-11pm From there, we wandered the mountain as a group till we came to the collective decision to head to Hi Score and play video games for the rest of the night and thats exactly what we did.
