Then we rode the local railway “Minato Line” to explore some of Ibaraki’s best hidden spots. The retro train cars, the slow ride, and the gentle scenery outside the window make this local line trip something truly special. From peaceful seaside towns and historic shrines to quiet unmanned stations. We also enjoyed fresh seafood, sweet treats, and coffee at a beloved local café.
