Kurdistan, la Guerre des Femmes face à Daesh

In the heart of the Middle East, Kurdish women fighters changed the course of history. Emerging from the YPJ (Women's Protection Units), they confronted ISIS in the trenches, organized the defense of Sinjar alongside the Yazidis, and led the decisive battle of Kobane. Through the portrait of Rosa Sela and the legacy of Sakine Cansız, an emblematic figure assassinated in Paris in 2013, this documentary delves into the history of a movement that unites armed struggle and social liberation. In the Kandil Mountains, in Rojava, and beyond, these women are building a unique revolution: political parity, democratic autonomy, collective defense, and a radical rejection of patriarchal domination.
