The Hidden Slickrock Wonderland of Zion // Lost Peak & The Triplets

Like I mentioned in the beginning of the video when I first arrived in Zion, I came in through the east entrance. I had never seen anything quite like it. The massive sandstone formations had me transfixed. At the same time I felt at home. I was surrounded by very similar Juniper, and Ponderosa trees. They dotted the landscape along with Manzanita, and prickly pear cactus wherever they could find a place to grow. Anywhere between the expanse of slickrock, which was few and far between. One of my first times in the area I discovered a high plateau hidden behind several peaks. A place very few people get to see. It is my pleasure to share with you one of my favorite places in the world. Backcountry Zion!
