The new TUCSON takes connectivity to the next level with continuous Over-the-Air (OTA) software updates for all vehicle systems, allowing owners to save costs and keep their cars with the latest software, providing an upgradable experience. The instrument cluster features another 12.3” screen, in line with the design of the displays in the latest Hyundai models. It can be a fully digital 12.3” display starting with the TECNO trim level, or a digital display with a 4.2” central cluster in the KLASS and MAXX trims. The Head-Up Display projects relevant information for the driver directly onto the windshield, so they don't have to take their eyes off the road. It also features a three-zone climate control system, with an air vent in the center console for the second row where the climate control temperature can be adjusted. The second row of seats folds down in a 40/20/40 split, adding even more versatility to the new TUCSON. They can be folded from the trunk using a lever. The engine range also sees improvements and new additions. There is now a new, highly efficient and fuel-efficient 1.6 TGDi gasoline engine with 160 hp, which replaces the current 1.6 The TGDI engine is available in 150 hp and 180 hp versions. It features a 48V hybrid option and qualifies for the ECO label. It is paired with either a 6-speed manual (MT) or a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT), the latter with an optional 4x4 configuration. The current 1.6 CRDI diesel engine remains available, also with two power outputs: 115 hp and 136 hp. It also offers a 48V hybrid option, 6-speed manual and 7-speed dual-clutch transmissions, and an optional 4x4 configuration for the more powerful engine. The new 2024 Tucson also features a hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) version, powered by the 1.6T engine and a 47.7 kW electric motor for a total combined output of 215 hp. A plug-in hybrid (PHEV) option is also available, paired with the 1.6T engine and a 72 kW electric motor.
