Nocturnal - No commentary walkthrough (Part 1)

Welcome to Nocturnal, a short indie side scroller platform adventure game which takes inspiration from games like Prince of Persia and many others of that early gaming era. I picked this game up for free during a steam game promotion week, and I am glad that I did! I would've completely missed this masterpiece otherwise. Nocturnal follows the story of Ardeshir, a warrior of a fallen kingdom who's bound to duty by the ancient fire of the Phoenix. He returns home from his sea voyage, steps in to the dark mist covered kingdom of Nahran in search of his lost sister Arshia. What happens after? The game will tell itself through its beautiful atmospheric stroy telling. The series will be short. I have already finished the game once, so this is my 2nd fresh playthrough. As I focus mainly on the gameplay progression, I might not cover all the secrets and lore points in game. If you want a complete lore video, feel free to comment below! As a player, you must fight the darkness of the mist and keep moving forward by using the fire as a tool. It has a little learning curve, but makes sure that you enjoy the learning, without being fatigued with its smooth movement and fighting physics. They are bringing Nocturnal 2 soon, and I will make sure to free up my schedule for that! This is a complete series, including the full game divided in short episodes.
