Right in that room, shortly after, you have confirmation of how the name of the Lamborghini Countach was born, of which you only knew the legend, and it is people who spoke with the protagonists of that project who tell you about it. I am about to tell you about the unique experience I had on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the Polo Storico Lamborghini. For the birthday of the Polo Storico department, founded in 2015 to certify, protect and restore its cars, Lamborghini involved me in a fascinating process that is followed in Sant'Agata Bolognese when it is necessary to carry out checks, inspections and dedicate oneself to historical research activities that allow one to go back in time, to the point of arriving at the authenticity not only of a car, but of its components and the stories that concern it. A fundamental part of the work of the Polo Storico in recent years has involved the digitalization of more than 30,000 documents, to facilitate their consultation and improve the preservation over time of technical drawings, production sheets, approval documents, original materials, period images, commercial and administrative documents or official company publications. More than 200 certifications have then been issued and more than 40 restorations have been completed. Up to the last Lamborghini Countach produced, the 25th anniversary that accompanied me in the static and dynamic certification and validation activities, therefore also with a road test.
