We discovered an EMD F40PH diesel locomotive completely abandoned in the middle of dense forest — trapped for 99 years with no railroad tracks anywhere near it. The locomotive was completely consumed by nature. Thick moss covered every surface. Vines wrapped around the body. Trees were growing from the roof. Rust everywhere. It looked impossible to save. But we extracted it from the woods, transported it to our restoration facility, and brought it back to life.
