Maintain performance without attracting attention. 📊 Before the conversion: Old can (about 20 years old, clogged inside—essentially non-functional) Stainless steel straight pipe + catalytic converter Noise measurements: almost 100 dB! (at 3,000-4,000 rpm) ⚙️ What we did (config): Flame arrester (the longest possible, made of stainless steel). Showed the difference with the stock one. Straight-through muffler (maximum can). The stock catalytic converters were retained. Track: combined (50-mm pipe at the beginning, 45-mm pipe at the end), partially aluminized steel + stainless steel. The exhaust was routed under the stock exhaust to conceal the tuning. 📉 Result: After measurements: 70-80 dB At 4000 rpm, the engine can be heard more than the exhaust! The customer is happy: "I was afraid it would be quieter, but it retained a sporty sound." No performance loss (the system produces up to ~200 hp, and can even be turbocharged) ⚠️ Important information about straight-through systems: The packing deflates over time (2-3 years with vigorous driving, up to 5 years with sedentary driving).
