The ground support tower consists of a truss mast that can be raised in three ways. In the first video, we saw how it was raised by hand, but most towers consist of a hand-cranked winch that allows the mast to be straightened by a single technician, assisted by another person who accompanies the mast from below. Once the mast is raised, the truss bridge is installed between the two-tower lifting trolley and raised to a comfortable height for installing the lighting equipment and the line array hoist. The hoist is usually secured to the truss in the normal position using a sling. The truss bridge is then raised, but the lower hook of the hoist always remains on the ground, allowing it to be anchored to the line array frame shackle from the ground. In this performance, the GXR-LA10A line array from the Valencian manufacturer LYNX PRO AUDIO was flown.
