accord 600 represents the design solution for doors, windows and stairs processing. With the aim of reducing production times as much as possible in any field of application, accord 600, the top of the SCM’s CNC machining centre for routing and drilling range, presents a brand new hyper-performing operating unit equipped with 3 independent units and a MATIC work table with PROFIGRIP clamps, which ensure perfect workpiece locking. The 4-axis and JQX 5-axis electrospindles, respectively 21 and 13.5 kW, with independent on-board magazines allow a tool change in masked time, even during machining with the independent front group, with BRC-S or drill head as required. Even with more tools always available on board with the new Caddy 35 storage, the size of the machine is still the same since the magazine is fully integrated. The tool management is then further optimized and simplified by the new Maestro Power TMS software, integrated in the SCM Maestro Suite. Thanks to this program, which maximizes the capacity of the machine and optimizes the tool storage, the operator no longer has to waste time and energy: the software will identify and indicate the right position in the magazine for each tool with the aim of minimizing machining times. Also, the cleanliness of the environment is another crucial aspect in solid wood machining and this is the reason why SCM has designed a new chip conveyor automatically positioned according to the machining program in order to have the maximum suction efficiency in all conditions.
