Le Car-T nella terapia della leucemia linfoblastica acuta: quale bilancio?
In which patients and at what stage of the disease can CAR-T cells be used today? They are currently used in the treatment of relapsed or refractory acute lymphoblastic leukemia, meaning in cases of failure to respond to induction therapy or relapse after remission. The pioneering studies were conducted in pediatric patients, while subsequent studies have been conducted in young adults/adolescents and adults. Dr. Alessandro Isidori, Division of Hematology and Transplant Center, San Salvatore Hospital in Pesaro, spoke to PharmaStar about this topic during the first edition of the Clinical & Biological School of CAR-T, an event organized by SOHO Italy.
