Let's see how they're preparing everything for the start of the Vuelta a España. We'll take a look at every little detail, and if we miss anything, you can let us know in the comments. Let's go! The first thing that catches my eye about this bus is that it expands. If it already looks big on the outside, let's see what it's like inside. Also, the special Tour de France livery that they've kept for the Vuelta a España. Here's a table for gluing the rims before fitting the tubular tires. They'd place the wheel here without the tubular, apply the glue, spread it with a brush, and have the mechanic's supplies ready. This is a job they do outside because of the glue smell. With the heat we have here in Spain, let's see how the Team Sky mechanics work. This is a different temperature; this looks like an operating room, and here we can see Dr. Iván, a Spaniard, working on Kwiatkowski's bike, getting it ready for tomorrow. We're going to interrupt him a bit; everything is super tidy. The bikes that are missing are here, the race bikes are being used for training now, spare bikes, bikes from car one and bikes from car two, and all the wheels. Team Sky has a special van for time trials where they keep the time trial bikes and all the necessary equipment, rollers, etc., which gives them more space in the truck to work. Let's start in this corner where we can see the rims are already prepared with several layers of glue. Here are the sprockets separated by size: 25, 28, 28, and 30. Depending on the layer they'll be competing on and the rider's decision, they'll use one sprocket or another, and we're going to indulge ourselves by opening their drawers. Here we see the small spare parts: headset caps, cable ends, screws, brake pads, shims, valve extenders, carbon number plate holders, a nice touch, handlebar tape, and insulating tape of many types. We can even see sandpaper tape for better grip on time trial handlebars. Here we start with the tools. These are the standard tools: saws, Dura-Ace tires, custom tape for separating parts, and more tools. There's a compressor with two air outlets, since two mechanics can work on this truck. A power outlet with multiple ports for charging the electronics and power meter—in this case, it's Shimano, the official sponsor of Team Sky. This is Sivakov's bike, so he won't miss a single number tomorrow. Up here, Team Sky has all their wheels ready. They use Shimano Dura-Ace, and for the Vuelta a España, they've brought 38 sets of 40mm profile wheels and 30 sets of 60mm profile wheels, all fitted with new Continental tubular tires. Here are all the bikes ready, and the one that catches our eye is Kwiatkowski's with its custom paint job. Do you like it? And come see this: Sergio Henao's personalized bike with the Colombian flag and the road race championship result, and how he achieved it. Here we can see they have towels for drying the bikes, a Most handlebar with an integrated stem—aerodynamic one, I love this kind of thing—and another handlebar with a stem, this one a classic. Down below, we can see boxes containing spare parts. Iván Millán, this is the mechanic's box, and here are sprockets, chains, derailleurs—everything needed for the Vuelta a España.
