Garden Tour - Tiffany Dobson - Jacksonville, Arkansas

Join us as we take a tour of Tiffany Dobson's backyard garden lovingly named "Stead in the City." Tiffany leads the tour introducing us to her small flock of hens referred to as Destiny's Chickens (DC5), a wine bottle olla irrigation system, an inexpensive composting system, a "Five Sister's" technique, and describes the diverse vegetables and flowers growing in her garden beds. Tiffany has fostered a strong community on social media and youtube through Stead in the City's motto -*We’re all just one seed away from harvest*- it is also through these channels that she is inspired by others and gained an empowering relationship with Jessica from Roots and Refuge; via Malabar Spinach! Tiffany's ability to educate and inspire around the homesteading lifestyle paves the way for her bigger mission of homesteading as a tool for social justice and to get the younger generation involved, "specifically black and brown kids involved in gardening... regardless of the constraints that you think you have."
