GRAPHIC | Father of one of the victims testifies in the Gerhard Ackerman child trafficking case

The father of one of the victims of suspected child sex kingpin, Gerhard Ackerman has told the high court how his son was lured from the Free State to Johannesburg, under the pretence of being a masseuse. The man testified that his then 16-year-old son saw an advertisement on Facebook, that he thought would change his life. He later learnt that clients were performing sexual acts on his son. Ackerman faces 740 counts of crimes including rape, human trafficking and distribution of child pornography. His co-accused, acting Judge Paul Kennedy, killed himself last year.
