This is the story of Chiyoda Golf Club, where I played the final round of my Hiroshima golf trip. Located about an hour and 20 minutes from Higashi-Hiroshima, Chiyoda Golf Club was a nature-friendly course situated deep in the mountains. Thanks to the rain that fell until morning, the low-hanging clouds created an atmosphere that felt like a paradise. Not only was the scenery beautiful with mountains surrounding the course like a folding screen, but the nature was so well-preserved that we could even spot deer throughout the course. This round was available at a reasonable price of 5,990 yen, including a meal, and since an additional half-round was also possible, I was satisfied with the value for money. However, the course was by no means easy. With many blind holes and severe undulations, combined with wide yet tricky greens, I experienced a much more challenging round than I had anticipated.
