In this video, Professor Thiago Caversan gives a comprehensive lesson on the action to demand accounts, including explaining that in the 1973 Code of Civil Procedure, the procedure was called an action for the rendering of accounts. The professor gives examples of the application of the action to demand accounts, discusses jurisdiction and the phases of the procedure (the first in which the defendant's obligation to render accounts is judged, and the second in which any accounts presented are judged), as well as the respective applicable appeals.
