34: La Bachata, Historia de la Bachata Dominicana.

Discover how bachata, born during festive social gatherings in the Dominican Republic, became a powerful musical symbol of national identity, eventually being recognized by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. This is an educational project carried out by the Corripio Foundation, which will feature approximately 100 episodes so that Dominicans can more accurately understand their history. We narrate the most relevant and epic events in the Dominican Republic. Our episodes are based on reliable sources. We work hand in hand with the Dominican Academy of History and historian and essayist Juan Daniel Balcácer.
