Unusual 1980s Express Lift Installed with TVC Controller - Featuring Motor Room
This is a rather unusual Express Lift, as it seems to have been installed using a range of third party components, rather than Expresses own like usual. The only things which this seems to apply to is the controller (which is Thames Valley Controls) and the motor, plus the governor. The buttons are Dewhurst, but that’s typical though. All other components appear to be manufactured by Express. I have wondered whether this was originally installed this way, or perhaps it may actually be a modernisation of an older lift? The door architraves on the landings appear to be a different metal finish, so potentially it is.
