Brigadier Peter Elwelu accuses Kasese MPs of spreading lies and causing trouble
The Second Division Commander of the Uganda Peoples Defence Forces, Brigadier Peter Elwelu, has accused opposition politicians in Kasese district of orchestrating what he called subversive activities in the Rwenzori region. Brigadier Elwelu, who commanded the attack on the palace of the Rwenzururu King late last month told NTV that the MPs instigated the killings of civilians which culminated in the attack on the palace that left at least 100 people dead.
