A New Union Vision: Transparency and Development in the General Assembly of Giza Engineers By Eng. From this fundamental perspective, and recognizing the importance of strategic union work, we observed with great interest and appreciation the first open meeting held by the Giza branch of the Engineers Syndicate with the members of the General Assembly. This meeting was not merely a fleeting protocol event, but rather a living embodiment of the "New Beginning" slogan, and a tangible realization of promises made by a leadership platform that believes direct and continuous communication is the only straight path to uniting all engineers and forging their efforts into a single crucible to elevate the esteemed Giza Engineers Syndicate, so that it may attain the distinguished position befitting its history and the stature of its esteemed members. Leadership Features and Event Creation The meeting witnessed a leadership presence characterized by responsibility and a complete awareness of the requirements of the current stage. The meeting was chaired by Eng. Ehab El-Hadi (President of the Giza Engineers Syndicate), with active and fruitful participation from leaders and members of the council, represented by Eng. Tamer El-Tawil (Secretary General of the Giza Syndicate), Eng. Mohamed Abbas Azzam (Council Member), and Eng. Ibrahim Saad Abdel Rabbo (Council Member). The platform conducted the dialogue with a spirit of complete openness, welcoming the opinions and suggestions of the engineers without any red lines or procedural restrictions. This fostered an atmosphere of union democracy and high-level professional discussion. Urgent action plans and timelines were developed to resolve these problems and improve the infrastructure and services to provide a level befitting the dignity of the Egyptian engineer. Latest Developments Regarding the "Engineers' Oasis" Project: This long-awaited project, representing an investment, residential, and social dream for many members, was a prominent topic of discussion. The platform reviewed the latest legal and procedural developments, as well as the current implementation status of the project, with complete transparency, clarifying all points and emphasizing the council's commitment to preserving engineers' rights and protecting their gains in this small-scale national project. The Roadmap for Future Projects: The vision was not limited to resolving past problems but extended to anticipating the future by presenting a package of developmental, service, and professional projects that the council intends to launch in the coming phase. These projects include advanced qualification and training programs for young engineers, smart solutions to develop the healthcare system, and improving the efficiency of the syndicate's administrative headquarters. A Message of Awareness from the General Assembly: Gratitude and a Call for Sustainability What was most heartening about this meeting was the awareness and sense of responsibility demonstrated by the attending engineers.
