The latest arrival from Kymco will fit into a rapidly expanding segment, which is trying to carve out the right space for itself among models with an adventure vocation that is more aesthetic than functional. On the new CV-R5, Kymco is also debuting a new color TFT instrumentation equipped with connectivity. The heart is a modern 427 cc liquid-cooled 4-valve single-cylinder engine with 34.4 hp at 7,500 rpm and 40 Nm of torque at 5,000 rpm. The chassis of the CV-R5, like real adventure scooters, is the part that is most similar to a real motorcycle. In fact, the engine is positioned centrally inside the frame and there is the upside-down fork with the rear monoshock, connected to the aluminum swingarm via a multi-link. The braking system is made up of a double front disc and radially mounted calipers, while at the rear the disc is gripped by a double-piston caliper. Total weight of 210 kg o.d.m.
