MXR 5150 Overdrive Pedal (EVH In A Box?)

MXR 5150 Overdrive Pedal (EVH In A Box?) Go grab all of my music (for free if you want) from   / elmojk   Is this pedal the Eddie Van Halen's sound in a box? He's known for having a great guitar sound, and for being a brilliant guitar player. If getting his sound is as simple as buying this guitar pedal, then that would seem like a no brainer. And even if you don't get his sound, you might get a good sound from the pedal. I try out the 5150 with two guitars, one with stacked humbuckers and one with regular humbuckers. That's because I got the feeling that the MXR might work better with regular humbuckers. But hey, I might be wrong. Anyway, check out the video to see how this pedal ranks in the pantheon of overdrives. It's got Van Halen's name on it, so it should be fairly good. Enjoy!
