The 17th Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition (LIMA 2025) is set to take place from May 20 to 24, 2025, on Langkawi Island, Malaysia. As one of the premier biennial events in the region, LIMA 2025 will spotlight the latest advancements in the maritime and aerospace sectors. The event will be held across two key venues: the Mahsuri International Exhibition Centre and Langkawi International Airport. This year’s theme, “Innovate Today, Thrive Tomorrow,” underscores the exhibition’s focus on cutting-edge technology, sustainability, and regional competitiveness within the Asia-Pacific. Highlights of LIMA 2025 Exhibitions and Static Displays: LIMA 2025 will host a wide array of indoor exhibits and outdoor static displays. Aerospace showcases will be located at the Mahsuri International Exhibition Centre, while maritime assets will be featured at Resorts World Langkawi. Expect to see advanced military platforms such as the Russian Su-57, Su-35S, and Mi-28NME. Appearances by U.S. aircraft like the F-35 and F-22 are also anticipated. Aerobatic Performances: Although the number of aerobatic teams may be fewer compared to LIMA 2023—which featured the Black Eagles, Russian Knights, and others—visitors can still look forward to daily airshows. These will feature both local and international military aircraft, with an emphasis on precision flying and technological prowess. Maritime Demonstrations: On the maritime side, demonstrations will include high-speed boats like the Zodiac and CB90, as well as operational showcases by the Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency. These activities will take place against the picturesque coastal scenery of Langkawi.
