We walk barefoot through the fish market, where the smells hit you straight in the heart (and nose 😅), past the sewers, garbage, and bustle of the streets... and all the while we remember how we fed the dogs here last year, we talk about the people, the cafe owners, about that very warmth that makes India so hard to not love. India isn't always beautiful. But it's almost always alive.
