The Source & The Tunnel | Kemble to Sapperton | 4K | Silent Walk | Local History | 🎧 Binaural

Me and Bud are back out exploring — this time across some pretty stunning Cotswold countryside, limestone paths and old sheep trails that have been there for centuries. We didn't know much about this area before we set off, but it turned out there was loads going on — a river that literally disappears underground and comes back when it feels like it, a canal tunnel that looks grand from the outside but has a pretty dark story behind it, and some wartime secrets hidden in the woods that we had no idea about. As always, Bud did most of the hard work sniffing everything out while I tried to keep up. We've dropped some Bud the Wiser notes along the way with bits of history we picked up — nothing too heavy, just interesting stuff we thought you'd enjoy knowing as you walk along with us. Oh, and stick around to the end for the Bird Choir 🐦 — you can hear quite a few on this one. I am not a bird expert, but have been using an app called Merlin to see how many birds we can hear along the way. I have tried something different this time. I was looking at different settings with the camera and there were suggestions of recording at 30 fps to make it more cinematic. I also got an ND filter, but this one was not very good as it heavily affected the colour and there is some darkness around the corners. I feel the sound has improved quite a bit. Hope you enjoy. This channel is all about walking and exploring mainly on the weekend when I'm off work. I find the UK really beautiful with some amazing historic sites. I try to make the walks as relaxing as possible and there's very little editing. So whatever is recorded on the day is what will be released. Whether we're covering miles or just sharing a thought, I'm glad you're here for our walk. 🐾 MEET BUD Bud is our Jack Russell. Since I film with one camera, some weeks you’ll see the world through my eyes, and other weeks you might get the "Bud-eye-view" from his harness. #virtualwalk #4k #walkingwithwilson #Bud #slowtv #asmr #binaural #cotswolds #nature #history #uk ⚖️ COPYRIGHT © 2026 WalkingWithWilson & Bud Bud and I worked hard to capture the original sights and sounds of this walk!
