"A Love Supreme" - Joe Lovano and the Cleveland Jazz Orchestra

I’d like to share some rare concert footage of an original orchestration of John Coltrane’s masterpiece “A Love Supreme” written for me by Jim McNeely for the Frankfurt Jazz Orchestra, in commemoration of its 50th year celebration in 2014. This performance is of a concert with the Cleveland Jazz Orchestra recorded live at The Bop Stop there in my hometown in 2019. I’m very proud of my collaboration with Jim McNeely and my relationship with the CJO. Enjoy the music and hope you feel the spiritual outpouring of this great ensemble.
