I Made Surfboard Fins From Skateboards Veneers

Recently I got a box of dyed maple veneers, that are off cuts from making skateboards. There is a mix of different colors in the box so I thought it would be fun to start making some single fins out of the veneers. I decided to make a black and pink veneered set. As well as a purple, green and yellow set. For these surfboard fins I wanted to make fibreglass tabs, so I layed up a panel with 36 layers of 6oz fibreglass. I made this panel with black epoxy, that way the black would match the pink and black veneers.
