Respira | Erica Boschiero | TEDxTreviso

Music can be a tool for connecting with the legacies of individuals, peoples, cultures, and the environment. But what legacy do we leave behind? Are we grateful for what we have received and responsible for what we will pass on? By connecting with every living being, we can feel their breath and sing along. Erica Boschiero is a singer-songwriter from the Veneto region. She has performed over 600 concerts in Italy and abroad and has won numerous national awards. Known for her civic and environmental commitment, she has performed for Emergency, Amnesty International (in Prague and Paris), the Perugia-Assisi Peace March, Legambiente, the Se non ora quando movement, and on many other socially relevant occasions. She has four albums under her belt, including "Respira," which was named one of the five finalists for the Tecno Award in 2021. On March 8, 2017, the Mayor of Treviso awarded her the "Riflettore Donna" Award, a civic honor that annually recognizes a woman from the city who has distinguished herself for her civic sense and professionalism. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
