Paint like Hans Hartung – Tachisme – Doing art experiments

The German-French artist Hans Hartung experimented a lot in his art making process. He is associated to the tachisme art movement but abstraction lyrique, the European counterpart of the Abstract expressionist painters in the US. By doing art experiments, Hans Hartung art looks quite different, it takes some work to like it. To understand his wat of working I do my own art experiments trying to create similar artwork. I prefer to work on multi-purpose paper, more info in this video:    • How to choose the RIGHT paper for your art   In almost all my videos I use with Winsor&Newton Galeria acrylics, if not, I will say so in the video. Other materials I use are in random order: 5, 10 and 40mm brushes, palette knives, acrylics medium, Ecoline liquid watercolor, Lyra color pencils, Lyra soft pastels, oil pastels, Stabilo color pencils, paper palette pad and basic masking tape.
