St. Brigid's Cross - Made from Rushes and Sallies
Here’s a 12 minute recording of me making a little St. Brigid’s Cross out of sallies and rushes that I cut in Ballinacoola Well today. This is rough and ready recording and was filmed by my 10 year daughter on my phone. I don’t have time to do detailed shoot/edit so hopefully this is enough for some of you to get the picture. I was shown this design by a man from east Galway called Jim Gavin back in October 2019 and its a lovely little cross if you are looking for a different design. Have a look and keep on liking/following this page to see more material like. Thanks. Text: Michael Fortune
