This live performance of “Matty Groves” was recorded at Fairport’s Cropredy Convention, Banbury, Oxfordshire, England on 15 August 1992. It was coupled with a medley of “The Rutland Reel” and “Sack the Juggler”, both composed by Ric Sanders and originally recorded for the group’s instrumental album “Expletive Delighted!” (UK Woodworm WR009 / US Varrick VR-029) issued on 1 August 1986. This track was included on the group’s live double-CD “The 25th Anniversary Concert” (Woodworm WRDCD022) released on 10 October 1994.
