【スイス絶景】グリンデルワルトとフィルストを探検！【スイス #3】

Overlooking the snow-capped Eiger mountain in the Alps, Grindelwald is a small village in the Jungfrau region of Switzerland. At First, a high-altitude village easily accessible by cable car, we enjoyed a meal with a spectacular view and numerous activities! (Sorry, I didn't try any of them.) Please check it out after watching the video. The road from Grindelwald Station to Eigerview Alpine Lodge was an incredibly steep climb, so steep it doesn't really do it justice in the video (lol). There seems to be a bus service, but of course it's not a direct bus, and honestly, it's not exactly convenient. I figured I could walk there, but it turned out to be a painful experience. The downhill is still a bit easier, though. Outside of the roads in the center, you'll see steep slopes like this everywhere, so be careful. Also, even if you can take the bus, it doesn't run on Sundays (and the hotel doesn't tell you that!). We had the unfortunate experience of waiting at the bus stop for ages on the day of our departure, only for the bus to never come... I'm glad it wasn't right before an important schedule. I wish I'd tried one of the First activities! You need to be prepared to wait in line for hours for gliding and ziplining, but when you look closely, there's no wait for the Trotti Bike! The mountain cart ride down that gentle slope while enjoying the spectacular views is also quite charming. As mentioned in the video, the price is the only drawback... I have nothing but regrets about the high food bill at the top of First Mountain (lol). It may sound rude, but I still find myself smiling wryly at the thought of paying that much for something like that. The seating itself is free, so I think it would have been better to buy sandwiches and other things at the shop at the foot of the mountain and enjoy them at the top of First Mountain. In any case, prices are high, so it does feel a bit pricey, but this was still better. Please be careful if you're planning to go. This time I only watched the paragliding, but it looked like it would have been really fun to fly! It's inevitably expensive for an amateur to try, but it would be nice to give it a try and think of it as a once-in-a-lifetime memory! Although it's omitted in the video, the weather suddenly changed that night and into the next morning, with the sky covered in clouds and rain falling. It was the rainy season after all.
